When Will Aaron Judge Be Back Playing Again

According to Boone, both Guess and Higashioka volition arrive at Boston on Sunday and travel on with the team to Tampa, Fla., following the series finale at Fenway.

Judge and Higashioka have a planned workout scheduled for Monday's squad off date at Tampa, "and we'll come across where we are from there,'' said Boone, regarding their readiness for Tuesday's game.

Through Friday, Estimate and Higashioka had already missed vii games, including last weekend's rain-abbreviated Red Sox series at the Stadium, when the Yanks took two out of three games.

Medical updates

Miguel Andujar had a second cortisone injection, Thursday, to his strained left wrist and "hopefully that does the fob and gets him over the hump,'' Boone said.

Sidelined since July seven, the third baseman/left fielder "still had some residual soreness'' following the first shot, but "they're optimistic it's not going to exist a long-term thing.''

Andujar could resumed baseball action as early as Saturday.

Outfielder Clint Frazier is still going through "the collection phase'' of data related to the dizziness that caused his removal from a June 30 game.

It's been "narrowed down to some vision (issues),'' Boone said of Frazier beingness fitted for contacts. He'southward currently pending a 2nd medical opinion and has yet to resume baseball activity.

First baseman Luke Voit (left knee inflammation) has an exterior chance to return by late next week, and he is hoping to return to baseball activity in the coming days.

Right-hander Michael King (middle finger contusion) requires a buildup once he's ready to resume pitching on a mound.

On Friday at Fenway, Corey Kluber (right shoulder strain) threw 25 fastballs off a mound for the starting time fourth dimension since his tardily May injury, but he's withal looking at a September return.
